As always, a super negative post, means I will have a super day… and I did! I went to the mall as I always do when I’m feeling down, bought chocolate… (and a shirt and 2 bras… shhh)… and felt considerably better. Then Dave called me at the mall and said he was at my house. I made an amazingly delicious meal of fajitas. Then the sun came out so we got all geared up to go for a motorbike ride… and Dave’s bike wouldn’t start… so I took all my gear off… and went back inside. And Dave came in and said, so are we going for a walk or what? (very rare). So we went for a sunny walk, with only about two arguments. Rented a weird movie, (Benjamin Button of Lengthiness) and ate some junk. And watched my favourite episode of Scrubs… with my favourite quote: (it’s long)
“Relationships don’t work they way they do on television and in the movies. Will they? Won’t they? And then they finally do, and they’re happy forever. Gimme a break. Nine out of ten of them end because they weren’t right for each other to begin with, and half of the ones who get married get divorced anyway, and I’m telling you right now, through all this stuff I have not become a cynic. I haven’t. Yes, I do happen to believe that love is mainly about pushing chocolate covered candies and, y’know, in some cultures, a chicken. You can call me a sucker, I don’t care, because I do believe in it. Bottom line: it’s couples who are truly right for each other wade through the same crap as everybody else, but the big difference is they don’t let it take them down. One of those two people will stand up and fight for that relationship every time. If it’s right, and they’re real lucky, one of them will say something.”
At the beginning of this part, Dave starts kicking my leg because we both like this quote so much. And at the end we both start applauding because we feel like it’s speaking to us.

Figured I’d write a bit about how I’m feeling. Since my interview, I’ve been super antsy and feel useless and bored and crazy. I try to sleep as long as possible (I know that’s a sign of something.) And I cried last night for about a half an hour (my drive home)… just because I felt overwhelmed by negativity (my own, and other people’s). Plus a long weekend filled with nothing is really making me feel like poo, especially since Daver will be studying like a madman for his final exam. So the only way I’ll have fun this weekend is by doing something crazy or going somewhere by myself… which I’m not really into… because I wouldn’t appreciate the same done to me.
Well I figure, since I’ve felt sane for so long, it’s time to hit crazy town again. HERE I COME.

I have no new content. Except a link to my Aunt’s blog because she has some nice pictures from the Anniversary dealio for my Grandparents last week.
Had an interesting interview this morning. But I’m not allowed to talk about it. Or the government will come and kill me.
Here’s a photo of me looking passed out.

And a photo of Dave and I visiting Opa&Oma in Langley.

I passed my bike road test baby!!! Only problem was that I had to get another new license, I just got one in March. I really liked my psychopath photo on it. Now I had to take a new one while I was all hot and sweaty from my road test (wearing 8 layers of clothing… completely unnecessary by the way) and the camera lady made me smirk (by saying: please don’t smirk). Anyways, she said I rode well… which is probably because they barely saw me because they were so far behind all the time because of the traffic. Well that works for me.
Tomorrow is my interview at Corrections. It’s a group interview with 4 other potential employees. We will be presented with a scenario and have to work out solutions together etc. The interviewers sit in the corners and watch how you relate to other people and judge your: teamwork skills, integrity, ability to learn and change, assertiveness and empathy. Sounds like a party to me.
Mom and Dad left for Hope last night. Who knows where they are going after that…
Don’t forget to check for new content on the right side of the screen. I do this all for you folks. Also, read my new Author page… it’s extensive.

I love changing my site design whenever I come across another home-made blog on the internet somewhere. Well today is my lucky day– it’s sunny out (finally) and I have my motorbike road test this afternoon and I’m shittn bricks if I may say so. Thought I was over this pressure stuff since I did profession of faith, and my class 5 road test. AHH. Okay it’s really not that big of a deal. However, my awesome new boots ARE a big deal.
I feel compelled to share that shoulder checking is something you should always do. Cuz some idiot nearly killed me when I was driving my car to Langley yesterday when they decided to pass the semi in front of them when I was in the lane beside them. JERKS.
I haven’t eaten breakfast yet and I’m sittin in my pjs, have nasty hair, and have my magic hot water bottle on my lap to try alleviate some female pain. Yes, I am the picture of attraction. Want to come over and have a look? Address: 2579 Tulip Crescent, Abbotsford. (Yes stalkers, I gave you my old address… feel free to bother our old landlords though if you are in the area… maybe tell them to get rid of the mould before any more unsuspecting renters get sinus infections… hosers.) Should really go shower so that I can go for a ride and practice before my 3:00 test… gotta break in my biker boots so I don’t drop my bike or something graceful like that.
Oh we had a grand party for my Grandparents 60th anniversary. They got a letter from the Queen and the Governer General and a bunch of other people. Never knew that happened on your DIAMOND anniversary. It’s pretty neat-o. We got them a large digital photoframe with a memory card full of their million kids and grandkids and greatgrandkids (put together by their favourite granddaughter of course… (me duh) har har.). They were so amazed by it, it was kind of cute. All they have to do is flick the power switch and it goes right away. Anyway, one thing I learned is, they shouldn’t have gotten me to explain how it works, you should really get someone who is less tech-savy so that the old people can understand. It’s hard to explain something complicated like a digital picture frame in a few nice words, and not sound like an idiot.. you should try it… it’s not possible: “this magical picture frame will magically show photos of your grandkids because it is a very smart pictureframe and it has a film? inside it and um, it is like a tv and it plays it? hmm… you have no idea what I’m talking about do you?” (You can give your own interpretation in a lovely comment. I am still wondering how to explain a digital picture frame to someone who has no idea about technology.
