I’m pretty boring lately. However, I did get sunburned today. It’s always fun to have itchy flesh. And Roze, I will email you back. I promise. Oh, and I bought a microwave at a garage sale.
It’s so hot outside, it’s just marvelous. Yesterday I jumped in a creek 3 times and it was pretty great. I also developed a few bad tan lines which will look less then pretty with my wedding dress. Better make it even today.
Heard back from the company I was interviewed by on Friday. They didn’t even have the decency to call me to say the position was filled. Emails aren’t fun.
Still haven’t heard back from that job after I left messages and called a billion times. However I have been hearing that Corrections is contacting my previous employers for references!!
30 days till we get possession of our house. I’m starting to pack and throw out junk already. 75 days till our wedding… doing odds and ends to try keep the planning up to date.
Hello, it’s the crying lady again. I was doing quite well actually. Can’t remember the last time I cried. Cried because I feel useless again… and lonely. Because Dave’s at work till 5 instead of off at 11 or 12 in the day. So I have lots of time to sit around and remember how I’m not contributing to our future. Well I guess that theory about women and men is true: men need to feel useful, women need people around.
Job, please call me back tomorrow!!!!
I’ve had stomach pain for 5 days in a row now. Thought today was going well because I was able to eat dinner and I enjoyed it. But about half an hour ago it tightened up and now I’m experiencing painful cramping once again. I hadn’t eaten dinner on friday or saturday… and Saturday I had some digestion problems… which I’ve never had since I was 2 probably. It was horrible. I don’t know if it is a virus or what.
Really hoping I get the job I was interviewed for on Friday… but I’m so tired of getting disappointed I don’t get my hopes up too high. I figure I’ll find out tomorrow or Tuesday.
Ya, I’m going to bed as I feel like I am winded.
I have an interview tomorrow, what a neat suprise hey. Haven’t had one of those in a while. Well, gotta get my fancy office clothes back out of the closet and do my hair for once. Yayy. Okay, it’s at Investors Group. Pretty thrilling. Maybe this will be the lucky one. I’ve got to keep myself busy till these Corrections’ people call me some year.
Countdown: 38 days till house possession! 74 days till the wedding! Shizzle, time flies when you’re doing nothing. Actually time flies when you sleep in till 11, (however, I did get up at 8 this morning). The Fraser Valley seems to have blossomed in the last few days, it’s really quite nice, I might not mind living here indefinitely.
Um, anything interesting to talk about? Oh, a relationship tip: you know you’ve passed the passionate love stage when ‘goodnight- I love you’ is replaced with: ‘don’t get any speeding tickets on your way home’. I guess we can’t stop thinking about money anymore since those lovely mortgage payments are going to start knocking on our door in one month. (oh, and the wedding.) Yup, no more eating out, renting movies, hm… anything fun, candy,… ya, pretty much anything enjoyable in life is axed because of this house business. It’d better be worth it… (I’m sure it will be)… I’m already fantasizing what kind of plants I’m going to put in the gardens… and LAWN MOWING… my favourite. (Not kidding). And having my own laundry machines… that’s my ultimate excitement with this house business.
Ya, sorry about that. I’m antsy is’all I guess. Still can’t find something that makes me scream with happiness.
So we’re just hanging out on this Victoria Day, Dave fixed the remote, I fixed my blog… maybe we’ll go for a motorbike ride… or something exciting like that.
Or maybe we’ll just sleep. (Dave’s sick). Or ya..
