Today was pretty rad, despite my giant throbbing toothache. I babysat for a few hours and we and a great time at the sketchy park down the street from my house. I was poking in a tree with my stick and said LOOK WHAT I FOUND!!! IT’S A PEN!!! OHH WAit that’s a needle. HEY, DON”T TOUCH that that’s disgusting, (disgusting?-he parrots in questions), it will make you sick (make ick?), yuck, (yuck?). Let’s go back to the playground equipment. Hey, what do you know, some middle aged men drinking beer on the slide, how nice. Quality day-care is what Pinklu provides.

I got an email from Corrections who said that I was into the next round of the hiring process which is to take the tests (which I already passed last year and do not need to repeat) so I should be ready to go to the group interview straight away. We’ll find out when that is.
And I got pulled over, 1 block from my house on Friday night for going 61 in a 50 zone and the officers asked me to get out of the car and look at my license plate where I discovered I had been driving without insurance since the end of March. You know life’s too busy when, or you know when you have too many things insured to keep track of when… (together we have a totally of 6 things insured: 2 vehicles, 3 motorbikes and a trailer.) and my renewal got sent to my old address even though I had bought other insurance since then while living at my new address. So complicated. Anyways, after a huge bawling and ranting fit where the officer asked me to calm down twice, he gave me a warning, which I thought just covered the insurance fine ($598) but apparently he wrote ‘warning’ over the entire ticket which also had the speeding fine (1$54) and the ICBC people said, ‘don’t pay it because that’s what the ticket is saying’. I didn’t argue with that.
So today was pretty good.
