We liked this house a lot
It was super cute and promising
Until Inspector Daver checked out the crawlspace again:
OKAY, were we blind before? The super dark wood in the living room makes too much sense now. You can even see where pictures were hanging on the wall when the house burned.
Maybe they should DISCLOSE that the house previously had a serious fire??
I got so creeped out I couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Well I guess inspections have to include asking neighbours… after all, they may be willing to tell the truth.

Sad to think people hide some important information eh?
Interesting post. I learned one lesson, when house hunting look for old seniors doing lawn work in the neighborhood and ask them about the neighborhood. Is the neighborhood quiet, what houses are drug/party houses, have there been fires, vandalism, etc.? Trust me, we live near 2 party houses! NOT FUN!
